South Africa

South Africa is a country at the southern tip of the African continent that has several very different ecosystems. The safari destination of Kruger National Park in the interior is home to big game. The Western Cape has beaches, lush vineyards around Stellenbosch and Paarl, rugged cliffs at the Cape of Good Hope, forests and lagoons along the Garden Route, and Cape Town below Table Mountain. This is where I lived for a while and where I keep coming back.
